Horsetail Falls on the Columbia River Gorge, Portland

Daddy on his 85th birthday surveys the sweeping cascade of 208-foot-high Horsetail Falls in the cool mossy miniature canyon of Oneonta Gorge in the Columbia River Gorge.

Joe, and a last look at selected waterfalls we came to visit, located in metropolitan Portland's backyard, on June 26.

Ruth at Horsetail Falls; next we drove to Mark & Dena's for Daddy's 85th birthday dinner and a visit, then to the hotel with breakfast in Portland where Anita made reservations.
