How about this for “off”-Broadway: Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church offered free tickets for their presentation of The Christmas Post, December 16 & 17, 2006. Joe and I enjoyed their Saturday evening Post performance! For awhile, Southend—near the Elder Art Gallery; have you visited this revitalized section of Charlotte lately?—felt like Broadway (Music, Drama, Dancing, Singing, Laughter, even a tug at your heart), except here you got what Big Apple theaters can’t offer: a heartwarming touch where John Q. Public experiences a V.I.P. welcome.
