Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden Holiday Lights

Ruth and Joe were astounded at the Canal Garden when we went on December 21;

Ruth returned December 30 on the last evening with our former neighbor Thu Oanh.

 

Candy canes are a symbol of Jesus Christ's birth & death. A Dwarf Palmetto (Sabal minor) frond on the winter solstice (flash photography close-up). Fruit stalks of Dwarf Palmetto (Sabal minor), and trees glistening with stars so close you can almost touch them. Joe and Ruth enjoyed a minature mule team cart ride.

350,000 colorful lights transformed a night-time visit into a festive experience,

an annual display illuminating most evenings November 24 - December 30.
